What does a volunteer do?

  • Keep the students safe by training them how to properly use woodworking tools.
  • Mentor the students in patience, persistence, and integrity in their work.
  • Pass a background check
  • Commit to a workshop time that fits your schedule
  • Attend volunteer trainings to hone your skills both in woodworking and mentorship. 
  • Experience intrinsic fulfillment knowing you are investing in the lives of the next generation of skilled workers.
